Praises for your prayers!  And more to pray over…God continues to bless our socks off, the men in the camp are getting more comfortable with just dropping in for prayer, or just to visit.  We’ve had several requests for marriages, children, and safety.  The snow is melting, and although its still in the 30’s (at the high, still 0-10 lows) we are out in t-shirts warming ourselves in the high desert sun.  Roberta and Gary survived being home and having to leave again, and were blessed by your supporting love-as far as she is aware Roberta didn’t even offend anyone.  (If she did, just let her know and she will abjectly apologize and give you a big hug next time she sees you-in the meantime, know she is praying for you daily.)  We didn’t get to see everyone we wanted to when we were home, but then, I just reminded myself that I’m “not Home yet” so I should stop whining.  Praise for those wonderful souls who have either stopped by, (Bill and Susan) or come to ski (Pat and Roy) or are coming out to see us (Dennis and Roberta.)  It’s so much fun to see our loved ones and to share what God is doing here at length…yes, I know, I am usually sharing ‘at length.’  Just so much to praise Him for.  Here are a few specific requests:

Graham Jacobs-Third tour of duty in Irac, his dad Randy requested that we pray for his safety.  Randy works the oil field to support a cattle ranch in another part of the state.  Pray for their salvation.

Carole and Richard-dear friends.  Richard in the hospital terminally ill. Carole requests God’s perfect will and the grace to accept with joy His decision.

Gary and Roberta – wisdom to identify more ways to reach out to the men in the camp here and to institute any other ministry the Lord would have done.  Pray for the pending jail ministry.  (A lot of the folks in the camps wind up in jail for a night or two, or three…)

Howard- Pray that he sincerely seeks help and that he comes to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior

Drew and Pam Crabtree-Pray that as God stretches them beyond their abilities He will equip them to bring Him glory.  Pray for the Mobile Chapel they will be staffing, and for 1st Baptist, Big Piney that they will be able to continue on with the things the Crabtrees have begun as church strengtheners.  Pray for Pastor and Kathryn Mizell, for their family and the building program on the church.

Pastor Ed and Autumn Bryant-Pray that the Lord will abundantly provide for them, far above all that they can ask or think.  Pray that they remain healthy and encouraged in the ministry at Fellowship Baptist in LaBarge.

Please pray that God will pour out revival rain on Wyoming, that the Revival and Prayer meetings will reap fruit for the Kingdom’s sake, good measure, pressed down and flowing over.

Pray for the prayers; ask that God would reward them richly for the time they spend before His throne; that He would build a hedge of protection around them and bring glory to Himself as He stores up treasure in heaven, just for those who pray.  Pray that they would see His goodness and watch for His response to their prayers.

Finally, or first of all – Praise to the Father, and Praise to the Son, Praise to the Spirit, all three as One.  Praise His infinite goodness, His unfailing love, His Being.  Great and glorious is the Lord our God, and worthy of ALL praise.

  2. Your doing well on the blog! Thanks for dropping the script font…it hurt my head. I am praying for you all. I was a little discouraged by the number of basics you all still need for the chapel. We are looking forward to getting to see you on Sykpe…our next Main Street update should be done that way, what do you think?
    I love you both.
    Robert

I am looking forward to staying better connected through this site to the service the pair of you are engaged in. It’s taken me a while to find out about the site but now I’m on track with keeping up with the Franklins!

  5. Hi, i just finished reading your messages and found it very interesting to know all of the things going on.The pictures were great, and we thought we had snow! It is wonderful what you are trying to do and if anyone can get the job done, it will be you. You have such strong dedication and faith to follow through with the Lord’ work. it is always an inspiration to be with you and the message you gave at the TEA was so appropriate. The word , “WHY?” is familiar to all of us. How often we say that and not really try to find the answer. I enjoyed seeing you and it seemed like a dream, you were there, and suddenly you were gone. Thank you so much for sharing with us and I hope everything is going well with both of you, healthwise. My first note did not get through on the addrss I had previously.
    Blessings to both of you.
    Shirley
